| June as Lucia di Lammermoor |
June Bronhill performed leading roles in many Operas and Musical/Stage shows throughout her career. The list is by no means
complete. Most of her early operatic performances were for the Sadler's Wells Opera (now English National Opera) and the Royal
Opera House Covent Garden, however from 1975 onwards she appeared as guest artist for the Australian Opera, Victorian State
Opera, South Australian Opera and West Australian Opera companies.
Royal Opera House, Covent Garden - reviews for Lucia di Lammermoor.
"The voice soared amply in the big sextet and she negotiated the mad scene with attack and accuracy and natural understanding
of Donizetti's florid romantic manner." THE LONDON TIMES.
" She is an intelligent and musical artist and her deftly voiced interpretation, espressively phrased and attractively
acted, was duly acclaimed." THE FINANCIAL TIMES.
